Here you will find some great outdoor scavenger hunts for kids.

An outdoor hunt is a great way to get kids experiencing nature.

Kids often need encouragement to go out for walks.

A hunt is a great motivator.

Enjoy these outdoor scavenger hunts.

This is a photograph of our daughter enjoying a hunt in our garden, she really enjoys doing these and it keeps her occupied for a while (a feat in itself as she is unable to occupy herself due to her autism normally)

We hide things around the garden and she goes off to find them. Try hiding toys, certain color items, pebbles, pine cones, leaves, small insects etc.

Here you will find a collection of outdoor scavenger hunts for kids activities which you will find really useful.

Hunt 1.

Penny Hunt.

Try collecting together a tube of pennies.

Then one day when the kids are bored you can hide the pennies around the garden.

If you have an area of gravel the kids have to work harder to find the pennies.

They can also be hidden in a sand pit if you have one.

When the kids have found the pennies, you could let them spend their find at the shop.
