The great thing about pizzas is you can make them healthy.
they are great as finger foods for your toddler and teens wolf them down
Pizzas are great for snacks and as main meals and we love taking them on a day out as a picnic.

Naan Bread Pizzas
You will need:tablespoon, 2 baking trays, bowl, chopping board, knife, aprons.
Makes 8 Small Pizzas
- Ingredients:
- 8 individual small naan breads
- 8 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 8 small tomatoes, diced
- 8 tablespoons sweetcorn (tin)
- 8 tablespoons pineapple pieces (tin)
- 8 button mushrooms sliced
- 8 slices ham, diced
- 4oz hard mozzarella, grated
- Preheat oven to 200°C
- Place the naans on to the oven tray.
- Kids can mix the tomato sauce and tomatoes together.
- kids can then take 2 tablespoons of this and put onto each pizza.
- Kids can spread the tomato mixture out with a knife.
- Kids can put a tablespoon of each topping onto the naan breads.
- Next they should sprinkle some cheese over each naan
- Put pizzas in oven for 15 minutes until the cheese has melted and they are hot right through
- Serve with a salad.
Crumpet Pizzas
What you will need:
- Ingredients:
- 8 crumpets serves 4
- 8 tablespoons Tomato sauce
- 8 slices thinly sliced ham
- 8 thinly sliced mushrooms
- 8 tablespoons of sweetcorn
- 4oz cheese
- Lightly grill crumpets
- Add tomato sauce
- Put on toppings
- Grill untill cheese is bubbling
- Serve and eat
Bagel Pizza Recipes for Kids
You will need:knife, baking tray, aprons.
- Ingredients:
- 1 standard-sized bagel, cut in half
- Tomato sauce
- Grated mozzarella cheese
- Red pepper chopped finely
- Orange pepper sliced finely
- Oregano
- Basil
- sweetcorn
- Preheat oven
- kids can spread tomato sauce onto each half bagel
- Kids can add other toppings and finally the cheese
- Kids should place bagel on baking sheet
- Put in oven until cheese is bubbling
- Eat and enjoy

Pizza Bread Dough
You will need to start:
A mixing bowl, 2 baking trays, aprons.
- Ingredients:
- 450 g strong white bread flour
- 1½ teaspoons easy bake yeast
- 260 ml warm water
- 60 ml olive oil
- 1½ teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- Preheat the oven to 200oC, gas mark 6.
- Get kids to grease the baking trays.
- Sieve flour, yeast, sugar and salt into a bowl.
- Kids should make a well in the center and add water and oil.
- With their hands the kids should mix this together into a dough
- Place dough onto a floured surface and show kids how to knead it
- Do this for about 10 minutes or so.
- Split dough in half and flatten into 2 circles
- Kids can then spread over the tomato sauce, then add toppings.
- This can then be cooked for about 20 mins.
Tomato Sauce
You will need:saucepan, liquidiser, aprons.
Ingredients:
- 1 tin tomatoes
- 1 small carrot
- 1 small onion
- broccoli
- 1 small courgette
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree
- Pinch salt
- Pinch sugar
- Chop vegetables into small pieces
- Open tomatoes and pour into saucepan
- Add all other ingredients
- Cook gently for 30 minutes until vegetables are soft
- Liquidize this mixture.
- Use for tomato sauce on pizzas
Easy English Muffin Pizzas
You will need:saucepan, cup, spoon
- Ingredients:
- English Muffins
- Tomato sauce
- Pepperoni
- Red peppers
- Grated mozzarella cheese
- Basil
- Oregano
- Cut muffins in half
- Spread tomato sauce on each half
- Add other toppings then cheese.
- Put in hot oven for about 10 minutes until cheese is bubbling
Tortilla Pizzas
You will need:baking trays, knife, aprons
- Ingredients:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Tomato sauce
- Basil
- Thinly sliced red peppers, orange peppers and onion
- Thinly sliced ham
- Grated mozzarella cheese
- Preheat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6.
- Put 4 tortillas onto baking trays,
- Get kids to spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on
- Quickly fry peppers and onion and add to tortilla
- Sprinkle over grated cheese
- Put in oven for 5 minutes checking them often.
- Cook until hot.
