Frog bookmark

  • What you need:
  • Template of frog here
  • Scissors
  • Coloring pens
  • Paperclips (colored ones work best)
  • Pipecleaner or thread
  • Holepunch


  • How to make frog bookmark crafts for kids

    Print out frog template

    Cut out the face of frog.

    Color it as you like using pens or paint and allow to dry.

    Get your kids to wite I love you mummy, daddy, grandma (whoever your kids would like to give it to really) Make a hole with punch in middle of the frogs head

    You will need to help your kids to attach a piece of pipe cleaner (about 2 inches)to the paperclip. I threaded the pipecleaner throuth the bottom of pipecleaner then threaded it through the hole in frogs head then wound the pipecleaner together at ends.

    • Used or new envelopes
    • Scissors
    • Colored pens or pencils


    How to make bookmark

    Cut off the corner of your envelope so that the corner will sit nicely on the corner of your book page

    Color it as you like using pens or pencils.

    • Photo of your child's face
    • Glue
    • Card
    • Colored paper
    • Coloring pens


    How to make bookmark
    • Cut a piece of card 3 by 7 inches
    • Place the photo at the top and glue into place
    • Cut some thin strips of paper to make a border around the photo.
    • Add some colored tissue paper if you like
    • Help your child to write "I will hold your place nan(or any other name)underneath the photo.
    • Decorate as you like

    Cut a length of card about 3 inches by 7 inches or any size that will fit in your book.

    Cut shapes of tissue paper and glue the shapes to the card, be creative.

    Cut length of thread about 14 inches

    get the kids to thread on the pony beads

    Playdoh Recipe

    1 cup flour

    1 tablespoon cream of tatar

    1 tablespoon oil

    1/2 cup salt

    Food coloring.

    Mix dry ingredients together.

    Add boiling water and mix well.

    Store in airtight containers.

    Add different color food coloring for variation.
