kids Recipes Banana Nut Bread

1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs,well beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup buttermilk
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
i cup chopped pecans


1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees
2. Cream oil and sugar.Add eggs and salt and mix well
3.Add flour and soda combined with buttermilk alternately.
4. Add bananas
5. Fold in nuts
6. Grease 2 regular size loaf pans or 5 mini loaf pans. Pour in mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes for regular loaf or 35 minutes for small.
7.When bread leaves sides of pan and toothpick comes out clean.Bread is done.
8. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
