Apple Pan Betty

Apple Pan Betty

I recently found this recipe on the internet. My family is on a very tight budget. I made this and they love it! We have it all the time now.

2 sweet apples, peeled, cored, chopped
4-5 slices bread, cubed
2-3 tbl. butter
cinnamon & sugar (to taste)

Heat skillet to medium, add butter. Stir in chopped apples, cook 2-4 minutes. Add bread cubes, sprinkle desired amount of cinamon & sugar. Stir apples and bread until combined and heated through (about 2 min.). Serve warm. I serve with chai tea, and sometimes my little one asks for a dollup of whipped cream. I can't take credit for this recipe, but I can say it is great for an affordable/healthy treat. ~oklahoma mommy~
